We are all unique and take in information and experience the world around us through our five senses. This information gets translated into our thoughts and our thoughts then have an effect on our emotions and behaviours.
Stop for a moment and conjure up an image of ”feeling cold”. For one person ”feeling cold” may create an image of sitting by a roaring fire, feeling warm and cosy, for another person, feeling cold may mean being miserable and damp.
So by understanding the way in which we individually process information, it is possible to learn new coping methods and transform negative behaviours. Our thoughts have an effect on our emotions and behaviours and NLP gives us tools and techniques to re-frame and change unwanted behaviour.
